Centralized Supply Educator List

The Centralized Supply Educator List is a unique initiative started in 2011 by Andrew Fleck Children’s Services in order to support their own growing number of Licensed Centre Based Programs.

By recruiting and developing high quality Supply Educators AFCS has assured that ratios are always maintained and has allowed flexibility for their employees working in programs to take leave without compromising the high-quality care that AFCS is known for.

A Supply Educator provides high quality child care and early learning, in settings that meet diverse needs and promote optimum physical, social, cognitive and intellectual development of the children in care.

Our Supply Educators

Supply Educators go through an comprehensive screening and training program. Only responsible, mature and capable persons over 18 years of age will be considered for approval. They are deployed to AFCS early learning child care sites, that have the following programs; infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten and school age children.
Supply Educators are required to have child care experience and to meet all ministry requirements which include:

  • A Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Maintain a valid Standard First Aid/CPR certification
  • Review all agency and ministry policies annually
  • Submit all related immunization records

Supply Educators are also offered ongoing support and training by our well trained staff.
